On Saturday 22-04-2017: I, my partner Ume Shanqo aka Umeme and my brother in-law Ahmed Melese had a plan to visit "Fourteen falls" at East Thika Sub-County, We met at 9:30am in the morning outside my rented room Huruma-Kiamaiko in Nairobi county, We talked a bit on how we will travel and we went straight to Allsops bus station to get a bus to Thika.
Thika- Bus drope us kenyatta HWY in Thika and they were able to charge us 100 shillings each from Allsops to thika and then we took another matatu again from Garissa road-"Gatitu matatu➡"headed to makongeni and we paid 10shillings each other to makongeni.
After Makongeni our destination is not over, Then we entered another Matatu again to go to Kilimambogo is the village where "Fourteen Falls" is located, and they were able to charge us 70 shillings for each of us.
Finally we are at Fourteen falls and we have been able to arrive at 12:52 pm, which means we have spent 2 hours and 37 minutes to get here by using Matatu, It is the same compared to 58 km. If we had a car at home, it would take us an hour and four minutes only to get here from Allsops and also we spent one hundred and eighty shillings each of us and the place was a great pleasure and deserves a piece of its own.
